Chased in Middle Tennessee. Caught one tornado warned cell near Manchester, TN in the morning but I did not see anything from my point of view. Storm motions were very fast, 50-60kts, with embedded HP cells so chasing was basically position, sit, and wait and hope you are close enough to see anything but not too close.
Intercepted another cell between Manchester and Tullahoma, TN that did produce a brief EF2 tornado that killed a man between Estill Springs and Tullahoma. This storm was also moving very quickly and HP. I positioned myself where I thought I would see anything that happened, but I only saw rain. The rain caused flash flooding in Manchester that got several homes wet that were not near creeks nor rivers. It just came down so fast it created runoff streams in places one would not expect.
