Phoenix - you know Meteorologist Ed Phillips, right? He also owns a weather-themed coffeehouse at Bell & the 51.

He just sent this in his email newsletter -

Weather Hobbyists’ Free Event at Weather & Coffee, Phoenix AZ
Weather enthusiasts can learn how to set up their own backyard weather station this Sunday, February 19 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Weather & Coffee, Phoenix’s newest and most talked-about coffeehouse, owned by long-time Valley meteorologist Ed Phillips. Phillips, as well as Steve Steinke, the co-founder of the Association of American Weather Observers and former editor and publisher of the American Weather Observer, will both be on hand to help attendees devise their own weather stations, set barometers or answer weather questions at no charge. Weather & Coffee will be providing door prizes as well.

Weather & Coffee is located at 3607 East Bell Road, on the southwest corner of Bell Road and State Route 51 (Piestewa Peak Parkway).

For more information call Anne or Ed Phillips at 602-485-JAVA (5282) or visit their website at weatherandcoffee.com.
