Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any YouTube channels that feature "chase vlogs" from the 90s, 2000s, or early 2010s. I absolutely love watching channels like Chaotic Horizons, Chroniques Chaotiques, Scott McPartland, Shane Adams, and Tony Laubach (I know you're on here!!) that showcase older storm chase events in a vlog format.

As a kid who grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s, I’ve always been fascinated by severe weather events from that era. I find it incredibly interesting to watch old footage of people chasing storms long before high-resolution model data and social media existed—it just feels more authentic!

I know Silver Lining Tours has some content, but I’d love to find more. Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Back in that era, the chase highlights DVD was a big thing. They were basically a series of chase vlogs before vlogs existed. Many chasers put them together and sold copies, sometimes every year. I'm not sure how hard it would be to track any of those down these days. I'd think many who did them might still have copies and/or be willing to start a Youtube channel with them.

I used to have Shane Adams's whole collection. Unfortunately, I was too young and didn't realize storm chasers sold DVDs and such back in the 2000s or else I'd have an unnecessary amount of Storm Chaser DVDs. Lol. I mainly collected old Nat Geo/Life magazines showcasing storm chasing and tornadoes.

Shane's uploaded all of his to YouTube!

Was tempted to download Driven By Passion 1 because it'd probably be an interesting watch ... but then I saw it was 4.7 gigs in size..
