11/22/10 DISC: IL/MO/IA/WI

That tornado looks strong. Wow, thanks for posting your video! It is very reminiscent of some other November tornadoes produced by low topped supercells.

A couple that come to mind are:

November 12, 2005 Gilbert, Iowa tornado
November 10, 2002 Van Wert, Ohio tornado

After dozens of chases over a period of 3 seasons, I got my first photo of a tornado yesterday, the Loves Park tornado. It's not the best photo, but I'm proud of it. :)

I was wondering if anyone knew the stats on yesterday's tornadoes as well as the tornado paths. The loves park one was estimated at 1/2 mile wide, and I'm assuming EF-2 to EF-3. The SPC says there was a tornado touchdown also in Lawrence IL, but that's all it says. I was really close to Lawrence at the time the business end of the cell was over it and I didn't see anything (though tree cover in that area can be dreadful). Any info would be great, thank you.

last Tornado in November for Wisconsin was 11-01-1971, before that 2 tornadoes touchdown on 11-15-60.

Just to clarify - the video of the Loves Park tornado that I linked above is not mine. Sorry if I gave that impression; I did not mean to. I just posted a link to the video, which I believe was taken by a resident of an area near where the tornado passed.

It's amazing how close the paths of the Love's Park tornado and the Poplar Grove tornado of 1/7/2008 are, especially considering how there was one building that was damaged by both. Almost all of the severe weather I chase locally follows that same path.
