Well, just about done here. We got nothing. Not even a flake stuck to the top of a blade of grass. Just had a quick burst of big wet flakes. Just west of me towards the Quad Cities my dad said he had almost a half inch in the grass.

On a positive note, we saw our first snowflakes of the season lmao.

I guess this means I'll be eating crow tomorrow instead of turkey. I figured this storm would be considerably more interesting than it was. Des Moines got a decent amount, but for the most part, this storm was pretty wimpy. Definitely a humbling forecast experience.

Bring on the next storm!

1.4" on the west side of Lansing, roads were a little slushy but no big issues. Highest I saw was near Gaylord with around 4", nothing more than 2" in the southern 2/3rds of the state. Here's my front lawn.

sitting on 3 inches right now with snow still falling. I wonder just how much if any LES will fall between now and when the wind shifts to the NW later this afternoon. Another inch and i would be pretty happy with the outcome from this system.
