• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Well, we've got the tor. watch and sort of a LEWPy line hitting the west coast of FL (with a couple tornado warnings), and perhaps a discrete cell new Lady Lake that is rotating and developing. [Now it's tornado warned, sitting on Weirsdale]

There are some discrete cells out front, but nothing looks too promising yet to do a great show in daylight, but let's see how things are in another 1/2 hour. Anyone on the west side?
. .
Notice there's one section of a value of 7 (best we've got over land so far) for the mid-level lapse-rates not far from Weirsdale, sort of that central area N. of Orlando, wonder if that's fostering some greater convection.

How about that torn-warned storm near Sebring. . heading NE. One could do an intercept on SR 60, but since it's getting dark, not me. Maybe it will still be cooking by the time it approaches 192 and Brevard county.

Yes indeed, check out this radar capture I took for Palm Bay: shows 71 knot (about 81.65 mph) winds at 340 feet. Brighthouse 13 claimed up to 90 mphPicture 2.jpg

This was a litle bit ago but it was pretty impressive. Not sure if anything hit the ground, but given how close it was to the radar site, I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

That's a reflectivity image, loops show that was just some mergers. No reports of any tornadoes with any of that action, just a night vision goggle report of a funnel. I'm not sure how joinville see rotation with this though.
