• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

We are closing in on the cells that have gone up north of Hays and Russell KS. From the north they are looking very robust and nice. Towering CU with nice anvils and growing by the minute. The latest MD 1417 has me feeling very hopeful about our chances with the rest of today's chase.

Figured I'd share... I've been making a program that 3d renders level 3 radar. Here's a screen shot of the severe storms north of hays.

Currently sitting in Concordia, KS. Tornado watch issued now and storms becoming much better organized to my west. Severe T-Storm warning on the cell in Mitchell county SW of Beloit. I'm sitting tight for the moment as I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger on any particular cell yet...gonna give it a few more minutes.

There is a boundary from PNC to 10 W ICT to HUT to 15 W. SLN. It may extend into the large cell W of CNK. PRESFR near that cell with nice concentration of SIG TOR values (up to 6+) ahead of it.

We are on the storm in Concordia too and it appears to be turning into a beast! Serious CG lightning right now. We are going to beat it east on 24 to get a better vantage point.

tornado watch until 12 am for Brown County , KS

Coming back from Overland Park, KS .

This watch was just posted around 9 pm. Brown County is north of Topeka and in NE most Kansas.

I might shoot up there but I don't fancy chasing in the dark
