Saw three small brief tornadoes south of Lubbock near highway 211 east of highway 87, and a large dusty, almost tornadic circulation under a wall cloud in the same area that Al Moller drove through. He reported that his car was jerked around by the wind as gravel, sand and crop debris pelted the side of his vehicle as he drove through the circulation.
Here's an image of the storm during its early stages as the first HP updraft formed.
One of the small tornadoes chased us down a dirt road after the highway was blocked by the developing tornado to the east, and hail to the west.
Here is an image of the storm a few minutes later. Note the dust in the field to the right of the road. That's left from the dissipating small tornado that decided to follow us down the road.
Later we drove east of Post on highway 380 and watched a several HP supercells pass by to the west and northwest, followed by a gustfest near Rotan. Here are a few lightning shots:
Also shot storm structure and wall clouds, which will follow in a few days on my website.
