I'll be hanging out in Dalhart for a little while. From the west texas mesonet it appears that any farther west of here the winds have a component where they are coming from the west a little (still mainly from south). So I'll be sitting here hoping the winds to come a little from the east. The bulge also appears to be further west than I had initially anticipated.

Edit: was going to talk a bit more but getting something for lunch. May go a little south...

Today and tomorrow look similar to me as TX panhandle days with a cold front (ctually the NAM shows instability a bit weaker on the 13th). I guess the hope is both days that storms break the cap and stay in the warm sector - but near the front - long enough to tornado.
