I thought it was time for a now thread. Strong storms capable of producing tornadoes are moving towards the Omaha area and a storm south of Des Moines near Osceola is showing rotation. I would be out right now but my funds are tight. Is anyone chasing these storms?

Trained spotter reported a tornado 2SW of Tingley, IA. There is still a nice velocity couplet in GRL2. Its birth was pretty explosive!

EDIT: A 2nd tornado report just near Tingley... saying "wide tornado on the ground near Tingley". Jacob Thunberger is streaming from there: http://weather.wdtinc.com/popout/?M=10164&C=20226&V=10101&U=10101&P=true
EDIT2: Damage done to farmstead SW of Tingley.

Well developed MCV just west of Atlantic, IA. Distinct center and cold/warm fronts. These always amaze me. There could be a large amount of wind damage from this and it appears it will last quite awhile. If you are east of it, button down the hatches!
