Good day all,
MODS ... Feel free to add Kansas to this thread too if anyone posts for that state.
I basically was chasing in the north-central Oklahoma area today after a long drive from Colby, Kansas as my chase trip is winding down and I'll need to be back in Dallas, TX by June 1 to return to FL.
I caught two interesting storms, one briefly a supercell before it gusted out near Nash, OK and another farther south near Crescent City, OK. Large hail, strong winds, and some funnels / wall clouds were observed.
Above: First storm north of Nash, OK with brief wall cloud / updrafting scud.
Above: Interesting storm near Nash, OK with forward-flank meso on gust front (?).
Above: Wall cloud west of Crescent City, OK.
Above: Wall cloud and lightning (with small funnel) west of Crescent City, OK.
