GOES in RSO (I think)...you can see in the last 15 minutes nice development of inflow bands to the south of that cell. Unobstructed moisture feed from the south. Classic.

EDIT: Tornado reported near Eolian per 506pm FWD SVS.

Did I just see an occlusion/handoff of the main circulation in the last few scans??

Looks like the county airport just south of Breckenridge is directly in the path of this circulation in the next 5 minutes or so. Tough road network to get over there from the west, and the storm motion is pretty fast at 45 MPH. Let's see if the crowd can keep up with this one.

EDIT from warning notice...."EASTLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS REPORTED A TORNADO NEAR EOLIAN."

The velocity couplet sure did ramp up in magnitude from this recent occlusion...I hope somebody will save the GR2 or 3 movie for a later post :-)

Tornado reported just sw of Breckenridge. A lot of the chasers have stopped...probably to film this. Phenominal presentation on radar...the hook has almost curled completely around. BWER just above the lowest couple cuts.

Deleted the SVS...repeated earlier posts.

Unbelievable presentation on radar. Delta-v's are up over 100 knots. Presentation on satellite is even phenominal.

Very few things can take my cause my gut and heart to sink...and a supercell with that type of radar presentation is one of them. I'm going to assume there's a strong, long-lived tornado associated with that storm...

It looks like it's occluding and a new meso is forming to the east. This thing could be a long lived cyclic best.

Large, violent tornado reported on the ground. Tornado emergency declared. Darn it, where's the guys with cams!!!

Latest radar scan shows the hook filling in & growing in size as it passes Breckenridge.......hopefully this is not from debris, as we have seen from other past cases.

looks like the original circulation is occluding and veering north. Latest velocity scan indicates two circulations, leading me to believe that the storm is going to drop another tornado.

Tornado reported 12 miles east of Burlington. The original meso totally occluded and a new one from immediately to the east. That was the most amazing radar image I've ever seen.
