As another data point, I have always run with an SSID (-9) on my mobile, and !SN! used to send my position to Spotter Network with no issue. Did this for years.
At risk of sounding a little conceited, was the normal integration working? Or have a number of people adopted my APRS2SN program and just not said anything?
It's not so much flipping an on/off switch as it is trying to fix an issue where the underlying issue is not readily apparent. If you've seen some of the other threads on the issue, you'll note that John has been on the record as saying they don't know why it's not working, and have to this point been unable to find the underlying cause.Yep, we have found that out. Hey @John Wetter and/or @Ryan Hickman is it possible to get this working again this afternoon. Our entire CWA is covered in the outbreak area today and it would be nice if we, the NWS FWD SKYWARN Radio Desk could see APRS !SN! icons on GRLevel3.

Placefiles can be put together that can limit SN icons shown on GRL3, so it can be set to only show the ones you want shown, as long as they're running their SN beacon via another means.
