yes indeed , Adam, it is the WMWifirouter. and it works. I installed it on my htc TyTN and my TyTN is now a Wifi hotspot and I can connect my N95 to the TyTN's Wifi signal.

in other words... how to operate a N95 on EVDO-CDMA data in Kansas ?
you need two phones... and connect them.
1. get a Nokia N95 or N93i or any other symbian phone that can run Qi, Kyte, Bambuser and that has WiFi. no GSM plan needed, no SIM card needed !
2. get a second phone with CDMA-EVDO data plan from Alltel ( best coverage in Kansas) or Sprint ( roams with Alltel) or Verizon. You
must choose a phone that has Wifi and runs as operating system WM6 (or a recent version of WM5 AKU 3.3 or newer .) and it must have internet sharing on it . *Some providers remove Internet Sharing from their branded devices.
3. go to
http://www.wmwifirouter.com/ and install that SUPER software that turns your WM6/5 smartphone into a Wifi hotspot. I just did so on my TyTN WM5 . it works.
4. run WMWifirouter on the EVDO phone. your phone is now connected to the web via CDMA-EVDO and it is also a WiFi hotspot to which you can connect other Wifi devices.
5. run Qik or Kyte or Bambuser on N95 and connect via Wifi to the EVDO phone. Stream live video with the N95 over EVDO.
Bingo !
now.... this is just the theory.. we need to test it....please can you test it and confirm it actually works ?
I tested here in Switzerland but have no CDMA network at all here. I tested with a htc TyTN WM5 data connected over 3G. I installed WMWifirouter. it works. my TyTN is a hotspot. I disconnected the N95's phone and connected the N95 via Wifi to the TyTN hotspot. and sent video. it works. And I dont know why it would not work over EVDO. but it is best to try to make sure. So get a WM6 Wifi smartphone with EVDO plan and internet sharing , install and run WMWifirouter, turn your WM6 phone into a Wifi hotspot, then connect N95 and stream and and tell me if it works.
