I'm looking to get a cell amp. I saw some back at Christmas but I don't know who was selling. Anybody got a deal on one?

Maximum Signal is the place to buy amp IMO. I purchased the Peak Reception Rockies Edition back when they were on sale around Christmas time and have been very pleased. When I received my kit my antenna did not have threads in it to connect it to the base so I called the guys up at Maximum Signal and they sent me out a replacement antenna, they did not even need me to send my antenna back to them. Great customer service.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not looking to spend so much on an amp. I think I'll go to eBay.
+1 for Maximum Signal. Gordon has a dang good product that many chasers use. They tend to be a little stronger than most and, of course if you have any issues, you know who to call. eBay kinda throws the warranty thing out the window since you never know where your product is coming from.
I'm sure there are some great products out there but I tend to go with those recommended by my peers when it comes to this stuff.

Just so you know , those units are over 4 years old. The reason I know the age is that Cyfre has not made those units with the red and black power cord with the molex connector in 4 years. Also the antenna is a very cheap suction cup antenna ( they now include a 5 db magnetic mount antenna) also new kit includes an AC adapter that kit does not. Caveat emptor!!! ( buyer beware)
