No joke! They estimate wind speeds upwards of 186,000mph and a path of 124,000 miles.. Of course it was FIVE TIMES the size of Earth! Talk about a MONSTER!

Exactly what I thought when I first saw this. But, it seems as though the vortex is magnetically induced rather than via thermodynamics.
