Lets hope there are no leftover or dormant artillery shells laying around. That could be a big problem.

UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE REPORTS WILDFIRE STILL
ONGOING NEAR THE BOMBING RANGE NEAR JUNIPER SPRINGS.
SIZE OF THE FIRE WAS NOW 600 ACRES. SPOT FORECAST WAS
PROVIDED.
 
Most bombing ranges do not use live ordnance, it's usually practice or concrete bombs with a magnesium tip so the range control folks can better score the "hit".

Live ordnance is usually reserved for the desert ranges where wildfires aren't much of an issue.
