Wichita Windstorm Tonight

To welcome our High Plains Conference guests, we had a spearhead echo go across Wichita this evening with widespread 55 to 80 mph winds. 13,500+ homes and businesses without power and scattered wind damage across the city and east. Jabara Airport (KAAO) clocked a gust of 69 mph. We had about 2" of rain in northeast Wichita.
