If you want radar, I use GRLevel3, as do many others. It shows radar for the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

You can download trials for all three products, but in the end it will cost some money to purchase one.

EDIT: To clarify, you will not be able to view European storms on GRLevelX software, but you will still be able to view American storms from Europe.
