The Educational forum was created based on a suggestion by Stormtrack's former technical administrator David Drummond as a place where newcomers, novices, and anyone new to chasing can ask questions and discuss weather with fellow beginners.
Our policy is that this is a controlled area of Stormtrack to allow beginners a polite, civil, and informative arena to get answers to simple questions. There are no dumb questions here. Personal jabs, snarks, and discourteous behavior are absolutely prohibited. All posts should help the beginner. Excessively technical information, off-track discussion, and debate between advanced chasers must be avoided and taken elsewhere.
