weather gadgets

i have vista and ive been on the internet for about an hour now trying to find a decent weather desktop sidebar widget...most gadgets dont seem to work, and nothing ive seen is up to date or displays a local forecast or radar, which is what im looking for...

does anyone know of or have a gadget that displays weather information, or news streams for that matter?
