One of the single most impressive lightning strike videos I've ever seen. Very clearly shows lightning causing a wooden pole to simply explode. Imagine having this happen while chasing out in the middle of nowhere.

Wow! That looked like one of those things you put in someone's cigarette to make it explode on them. You younger folks might not know what I'm talking about. They were really funny, but man, was my mom mad!!

That has to be a steam explosion - Superheated water flashing to steam, and blowing the pole apart.
Those were called "Loads" ...
... I tried hard to make my mom (RIP, she died in 2013 from lung cancer) quit smoking when I was a kid by putting these in her cigarettes. Just got me whipped and grounded ;(
