• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

This Camera bag is also a laptop bag that can handle a gaggle of your favorite glass and your DSLR.
It also fits a laptop up to 17" in size.

It follows the length of your body when shouldered - rather than using a regular camera bag that looks and hangs like a big black meatball. It can be carried covertly if you want to sneak your camera gear into an area that may be hard to enter otherwise.

The proceeds from the sales of this nifty bag goes to support the "Reporters Without Borders".

I would guess there may be a need for this for someone somewhere. But, I think the covert aspect may be out the door, along with your equipment, as soon as a bag check may be done at the area you are trying to sneak your camera gear into.

I would probably look into "Reporters without Borders" a little more before I decided to help fund their activities. A quick Wikipedia scan shows that they rank the U.S. #48 on their Worldwide Press Freedom index. My B.S. meter pegs out on that one, but hey...maybe next year we can displace Nicaragua for no. 47 if we try harder.

I don't have much need for stealth so I'll stick to my Lowepro SlingShot 200 for my walking-around bag. I can swing it around and pull out my DSLR in 5-10 seconds, which is plenty fast enough for me.

My other bag is a Lowepro CompuTrekker Plus...definitely not a stealthy bag. I can fit all my gear in this monster, including my 17" laptop. I keep it open in the back seat on chases so I can reach over and snag anything I need. I also use it for landscapes while backpacking as I can attach my tripod and carry everything at once.
