Ultra bombing typhoon Muifa

James Reynolds

Totally speechless... and now I'm getting my act together to be able to compose a post.

I left the house 12 hours ago as tropical storm Muifa looked to be undergoing some pretty impressive rapid intensification into a typhoon. An now come the early hours Wpac time it would appear Muifa has undergone some of the most intense bombing I've ever seen in a tropical cyclone.

HOUGH

I wish I hadn't spent the day away (and had a few too many weekend beers.) This looks to be a historic storm!

!

Muifa's been suffering today and is no longer the incredible storm it was yesterday but is still a formidable typhoon and a major threat to the Ryuku islands and China. One to keep a close eye on especially if it starts re-intensifying!
