• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

The weather channel is now broadcasting full hd and it's looks amazing this is after Stephanie Abrams said it would be 2 more weeks.

What a nice looking set I will try to post some screen shots later :D

Awesome! There's nothing better in 1080 than weather. Now hopefully their next step will be actually talking about real time weather again. I'd hate for a major severe weather outbreak to interrupt a rerun of "Storm Stories"!

For some reason on my end its not showing it as "stretch" mode, it has the black sides or isnt a "full screen". Usually with DirectTV that means its an HD channel but not broadcasting in HD. Anyone else seeing this with DirectTV?

Oddly enough, the local on the 8's portion just came on in "stretch" mode. When it went back to normal broadcasting it has blue bars on the side that say HD, kind of annoying.

Looks great... a real improvement.

As someone said above, if only they actually covered severe outbreaks these days. Hopefully things will change now that they're going to be sold.

Hmm, that's odd. That's exactly what it was like last week when it was only half HD. I have Dish Network btw. Sounds like for whatever reason DirectTV is still only broadcasting TWC in half HD. I have no idea why that'd be though.

Well both on Dish and Direct tv for some reason it is not full screen right now. I guess that they are still trying to work on the new studio cause you will notice that they are back in the old studio

So they're broadcasting in hD (half-D)? Or would it be HD/2?:D

Ahh that'd explain it. I never checked it today. Last night it was all in HD. I guess that's fairly understandable.

CNN is the same way. A few things are in HD, but a lot of the stuff is still non-HD.
