Good day all,

Whipped up a nice video edit (with dance music) on Youtube at the link below...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8ClxTM27AE

Basically, a single supercell deveoped and produced about a DOZEN tornadoes (all from the same cyclic storm) during its journey from near Crosbyton to near Girard in texas!

Enjoy and turn it up!

Note to MODs ... If this is in the wrong area, feel free to move it if necessary.

This is one of the most beautiful Tornado videos that I ever seen!!! Thanks!

Great stuff, Chris. Man--that was some incredible vertical development in the early portion of the video. I had no doubt just from the early structure that this was going to be a massive storm. Nice shots of the GR3 (I never remember to film that)...you were right on the dry punch :).

Thanks for opening this wound up fresh Chris...I screwed this day up so completely that I'd venture to say it belongs in a hall of fame somewhere. :o

But awesome vid :D

Yeah this is one of my worst memories as well. The good thing was, I learned on this day that I CANNOT be around other chasers when I'm forecasting.

Very nice video montage! I particularly like the multi-vortex or multi tornado at near 8 min, that was wicked cool.

I did well this day, actually is transpired over a about 3 days as I recall. I forget how many tornadoes I saw but it was quite a few. My main grief this day was I didn't get closer to some of the tornadoes. The back roads as I recall were muddy and I was afraid of getting stuck. Oddly, I never posted almost any of my pics or video from the day. I have one shot of a tornado on my website as a placeholder for the day which says 'Coming Soon..the tornadoes of June 12th', but I never added more.

I'm curious was that first tornado in the sequence just to the sw of Spur? I got on a tornado there and called in a report for it. I thought I was the only chaser to see it, but your tornado looks similar to what I saw. It was a really nice tornado out all alone on the plains. It looked lonely as it danced and morphed into various shapes. I believe at one time it had a couple of vortices down at the same time.

I have you and Shane both beat on this day.

I had targeted that area perfectly that morning and was on the road heading to the area. I was nearing Claude when I started coughing real bad. I was just getting over a bad chest cold. I guess I coughed a bit too hard when a I felt a sharp stabbng pain. The pain was so intense I almost blacked out and crashed the truck. I though I had ruptured a lung..nope.. just broken one of my freaking ribs near the back curve on my left side!! I never knew you could break a rib coughing. I had to turn around and drive myself back to Amarillo and straight to the ER. The ER doc said I couldnt have broken a rib and must have pulled a muscle but I could feel the bone rubbing and catching on itself evefy time I tooka deep breath or moved so they took xrays and yep it was snapped. he had also never seen that before.

After that it was over a month of sleeping in a recliner and slow moving. Not much you can do with broken ribs except take it easy and wrap yourself up. I dont know if I was more pissed I broke my rib or missed the tornadofest. To this day any video party we have here Steve Miller (tx) has to bring that damn 6-12-5 video of his and rub it in.
