• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Have any of you guys tried this or SevereMap forecast from Andrew Revering. I use his F5 data and enjoy it and was bored and looking at other things I could add for next year and was thinking about this. Is it worth it at all? I see they predicted the Atoka, Ok tornado right on but was that just a fluke or did it get several tornadoes right this year? If any of you subscribe to either of these features let me know what you think.

I'm not a subscriber, but I know his target last Monday was York, NE, which was pretty darn close to the good stuff. The forecasts I've seen are very detailed.

I bought a 3-month subscription to Andrew's SevereMap forecast a couple of months ago. Primarily because I've become obsessed with forecasting and I thought it would be nice to compare my (very beginner) work to that of someone who is much more seasoned than I am. I have to tell you, in the last 60 days, his forecasts have verified often. I can't give you a percentage, but they have verified far more than I would have ever expected. He is very knowledgeable and provides a great service at a very good price.

For those that are interested, it's basically a Day 1 forecast that's released once a day, usually around 0500-0600 CDT.

I have not used his Tornado Target service, but I can definitely recommend SevereMaps.

I have subscribed to SevereMaps for the last few months and have greatly enjoyed it. I live on the east coast and have had very limited use for his forecasts; however, just like Bryan, it has been a very good product for learning. Likewise, I have had multiple questions along the way and Andrew always gets back promptly and sincerely tries to answer questions in an honest and educational manner. Granted, it is basically a Day 1 forecast but he explains things well and in a simple manner for beginners such as I am.
