• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

This should prove helpful. Thanks for making this. I was going to add a few bad hotels, however I can't think of their names because they were so great they're not on the internet *sarcasm*.

If anyone wants to add to the list but doesn't have all the info (address, phone), just put in what you know. (might need the name though, Robert :)) Also, the formatting can be screwy, so just add the info and I'll make it look pretty.

I would like this list to be as comprehensive as possible, but I'm going to start by asking for particular cities frequented by chasers. If you have stayed at a motel or hotel in these cities tell us about your stay:

Hays, KS
Goodland, KS
Dodge City, KS
Wichita, KS

Thanks to all who have contributed so far. This has the potential to be a very useful tool for those of us who wander the plains at midnight looking for a cheap and clean room, but we need more input.

I have made it easier to submit an entry by creating a form that is accessible to anyone without logging in or messing with Excel. All you have to do is click the link, type in the info and click submit:

Your input will be automatically published to the spreadsheet here (switch state by the tabs at the top):

Thank you Chad. Hopefully this will help us get this going more.
As you said, this will be helpful to everyone and would be a great help if we can get some more input from members.
Please everyone who is interested, please add some info for us.
And if you don't know of a particular motel, please PM or email me with the preferred cities and I will follow up on this in my travels there this year.
THANKS

Chad, Thank you for providing this. But can you add one more column that says "Recommend Yes/No"

That way we can scan through them without pausing on the bad ones?

Thanks!

For those who stays a week or more in the alley, check out "Thunderbird Lodge" in Norman, OK.
