The TIV Road Tour is this weekend!
Join IMAX filmmaker Sean Casey, star of Discovery Channel's 'Storm Chasers', this Sunday at the Tennessee Aquarium from 12-1pm in Chattanooga, TN for pictures and autographs. Plus you'll have the chance to win for a ride around town in TIV2!
The road tour continues Tuesday to Birmingham, AL where Sean and TIV2 will be at the McWane Science Center from 11 am to 1 pm. If you would like an autograph, you must bring your own material and/or camera.

I sure wish they'd come around here, would be a great story to cover. Kinda surprised (kinda not) considering Discovery Communications (aka Discovery Channel) HQ is here in Silver Spring, MD.

I know it wouldn't be great to put all those extra miles on the vehicles, but hey, they could rail car it if they don't want the mileage (it's actually not as expensive as you think, if packaged right.

They've used a Tractor Trailer before to move TIV from California to Kansas. The rail car isn't a bad idea.

Maybe on future tours, folks can win the chance to stand around in the sun all day, watching while the scout vehicle's team fixes the TIV on the side of a highway somewhere.

Or they could get it in an EF-5 and it could travel some distance... but that may cost an arm and a leg. literally.

Kindly find it funny myself that the TIV crew has a "groupie" that seems to find herself around whenever there is poses to be taken. Pouring down rain and chilly, and out in short shorts and a tight shirt .....hmmm.... I don't object to this myself, but I find it bothersome with young kids and such exploring the vehicle and don't need some bimbo around trying to hog the spotlight....

Pretty funny shirt she has on also. I don't agree with some of their actions, but I can't say that I dislike any of them. Josh on the other hand, well I'm still not to happy about what he said but that's another story that's been talked to death.
