Hello.
Super typhoon Nanmadol bombed out last night local time and is now a borderline cat 4 / 5 with 135kts sustained winds. It's quasi-stationary off the NE coast of Philippines and forecast to track north very slowly towards Taiwan and southern Ryuku islands.
The slow track is a real threat for this mountainous part of the basin. My plan is to either fly to Taiwan or Okinawa on Sunday depending on the latest data at that time.
