"About the Colorado Storm

The echo is quite weak, reflectivites are mostly less than 12 DBZ in the reflectivity surounding the radar. If this is not ground clutter it might be ice crystals precipiting out of a shallow deck of supercooled stratus and fog, or even directly out of thin layer of high humidity upsloping flow, with nucliation mostly below 1,000 feet AGL. if so, further away the radar may be overshooting the very light snow or ice crystals. I do not know why there is a hook shape, but I am pretty sure that this is not a convective cell of any type.

Now that I see your post, I am pretty sure that this was meant to be funny.....whoops...sorry.
