So question.. How do sub vorticies form in a tornado? Is it the same way that suction vorticies develop? And how do some of them stay persistent like the ones did on El Reno?

I'm not sure there is any scientific difference between what you're calling sub vorticies and suction vortices. As far as I know, they are the same thing.

Hmmmm so im guessing that those things depend on how wide the tornado circulation is but what gets me is how persistant the sub vorticies were near El Reno last year. When the tornado cyclone (low level meso) breaks down and produces multiple tornadoes its sometimes hard to tell wheather thats the actual tornado that has broken down or the tornado vortex beacuse they seem to touch the cloud base.
