Storm Chasing Handbook Comes to Kindle!

I've owned my Kindle for over a year and it's packed with textbooks, regular ol' reading, medical journals, and the like. Suffice to say I love it.

I was very excited to see Tim's book get the Kindle format. To support him and thank him for formatting that, I purchased it right away and wanted to post to others. This is a don't miss.

Thanks Tim!

I think there is a way for non-kindle & non iPad (with kindle app) to get this on a laptop too. I certainly will get it if there is.

We'll need to start calling this a Jason post...all we're missing now is Jason Boggs...

Okay...The Kindle program is a FREE application for Droid, Apple's iOS (iPad and iPod), and PC. The applications work similar to Adobe PDF, but in ebook format.

The advantage of Kindles becomes abundantly apparent if you buy a Kindle. I can read a book on my Kindle at home, stop mid-chapter. If while I'm at work and my Kindle's at home, I can use the PC version of the Kindle to open up my book to the exact spot where I left off at home. The Kindle synchronizes your library. It's phenomenal.

Anyway, do check it out. For $9.99, the Kindle edition is worth well more than that.

Jason, thanks for the heads up. I bought the handbook in PDF form. It's nice that I don't have to lug a heavy book with me on a chase trip. In addition to any refreshing on forecasting, I can easily access Tim's nice travel guide for the Plains.
