The Storm Assist group just released the Blu-ray version of their video production featuring the biggest severe weather events of 2012 as captured by dozens of storm chasers. 100% of the profits from its sale go to charities aiding storm victims.

The Blu-ray version, in addition to featuring these shots in high definition, has a couple of bonus chapters featuring additional tornado and supercell events that did not fit on the DVD. I highly recommend picking up the Blu-ray version, and even getting a Blu-ray player if you don't have one just to see these events in their full glory. There are several dramatically close shots of tornadoes and debris clouds where you can see amazing detail.

The Blu-ray is $25 plus $2 shipping and handling for US buyers or $7 for international.
The DVD is $20 plus $2 shipping and handling for US buyers and $7 for international.

Worth every penny. Thank you to all who put it together as it is for a worth while cause and gives others who enjoy the passion of chasing something to enjoy in another sense too.

Came in the mail yesterday. Enjoyed it immensely. Thanks to all that put this together. Glad to be apart of something that helps people in need. Especially when the project is something I love to do.

I recently watched the blue ray and it is pretty great. I have not seen very many chase dvds in the past but of them this is one of my favorites. There are a couple pretty minor issues but it contains some of the best footage from 2012, which more than makes up for it IMO. If you are looking to buy a dvd, I strongly recommend this one.

I should clarify, by minor issues i meant very minor. A couple videos looked a little bit odd but not enough that i wouldnt take the time to watch them. It is still awesome video. I know i have seen a couple people complain about how some of the videos where edited together, but knowing what they where given to work with I am still more than impressed. And I personally didn't even think that was a problem.
