Took a trip down recently to Starbase in Boca Chica Texas to check out the Starship 6 launch. It was completely awesome, with more 'crackle' than the space shuttle launch I saw in 2011.
Starbase is cool in the fact that it's wide open. I could have probably walked right up to the rocket without much resistance and was able to stand around 300 yards away legally on Boca Chica beach.
Stayed in South Padre Island for a few nights. It's offseason so the nightly rate was around $100.
The best part was of course the launch. They did not bring this one back and land it at the pad, so I have another excuse to go for another launch. My full write up can be found here SpaceX Starship 6 Launch - Ben Holcomb
