Starlink Demand Surcharges

Noticed a video today talking about how Starlink quietly changed their TOS for Residential subscribers. At least until Dec 2025, they allowed residential users to pause Starlink services for $5/month and then turn it back on later without being subject to demand surcharges (over $1,000 in some high demand areas). Now they have updated their FAQ and say that upon resuming services, Residential users are no longer exempt from demand surcharges. While this does not appear to impact Roam (mobile) subscribers at this time, it is food for thought if you are considering Starlink for chasing.
