Sony Releases tons of new video cameras

Sony released a whole bunch of video cameras today at CES:

The report has links to Sony's press site.

Of course, Sony is short on details and their press site is currently down, but it looks like we may get to re-hash the whole HD camcorder scene again shortly.

These are AVCHD instead of mini-dv. That format takes more computing power to edit/encode and I've heard is lower quality than mini-dv based Hdv.
