The transitional seasons are great aren't they, Texas has scenarios like this quite often during this time of year, its a meteorologists dream. Gotta love that Severe Storms with a low of 28, now thats classic.

I saved a screen capture and posted it on ST last year (I believe). We had a WSW + TOR watch + SVR warning + flood statements. With the exception of flood statements (ponding on roadway), nothing else verified. We didn't even get the winter storm if I recall correctly.

I noticed the Winter Warning mentioned thunderstorms tonight creating heavies ICE totals.....and they weren't talking about hail either. LOL

I remember a time or two in March when I chased something in North Central Tx and drove home into snowfall!

Temps are in the 70's where that warning was issued - little too warm for snow ;>
