Just completed my spotter class today through Henry County. Was a very interesting class. Barry Gooden, FFC NWS did an outstanding job. Saw many videos and pictures from storm chasers.

The big day here in Lansing is Saturday. I've got 200 pre-registered, expecting at least that, and I'm in charge. Fun stuff!

The Basic Spotter Class I will be attending is Wednesday March 11th and the Advanced Class is Saturday March 28th. Also hope to make Chicago's Channel 9 Tom Skillings Severe Weather Seminar in Batavia,Ill. held at Fermalab, its on Saturday April 25th.

I haven't been able to find a Skywarn class listed in our area. We have an upcoming NWS spotter meeting coming up on March 31, but that is just the usual 2 hour quickie
