"An Australian journalist covering flooding from Cyclone Debbie was shocked to come across a dead bull shark that was apparently swept up in the deluge.

WIN News reporter Philip Calder tells news.com.au that he was in the town of Ayr to shoot video of a flooded road and couldn't believe he came across a shark in a puddle."

That headline is from my local NBC affiliate and it caught my attention, although it is a little misleading. It sounds as if flooding is what brought the almost 5 foot long bull shark around 10 miles inland to Ayr, Queensland, Australia. The town is located just a couple of miles north of the Burdekin River that does flow into the Coral Sea.
