Sharing a Ride for Experience

Typically, you would post in the Storm Chaser Partner thread in the Stormtrack Announcements section. But, I noticed that you already put a post there.

You may find someone with experience that is interested in joining you, so don't give up. But, from what I've found, a majority of experienced storm chasers prefer their vehicles and also prefer to be the driver. I think I saw another post of yours where you mention you would pay for gas, lodging, etc. to receive guidance from an experienced chaser. My advice would be to change that around and offer to join them and pay for expenses. Good luck.

Thanks, David. You've helped me before. I think what you wrote is correct. I think that what I'm seeking from the storms differs considerably from what most others seek. I want one thing, to photograph super cells and make time lapse videos of them. Anything else would detract from that. I think it's a bad idea to go out on my own, but I will if that's the only option. I have this season and possibly the next to do this. So there it is.
