Agreed. Definitely closer encounters, but I still blame all those crazy US chasers for getting close to lightning, now people in other countries are trying to be like them and are ruining the image of chasing.

Right on! I did hear that there will be a show on this fall where the chasers drive a specially built car with 100ft metal rods attached to the roof pointing skyward that will be driven into the core. The previews have looked great, but you know what's next!
