Benjamin Mucks

Hey there!

I wanted to ask for the best place, image size&numbers (could be many...) and any other stuff I should keep in mind posting a best-of-compilation from my storm chasing activities in the past 3-5 seasons (most likely 2008-2010) back here in Germany.

1. Where can I post it? (in one thread? Or should I split it up?)
2. What about image size and quantity? (I read the rules for the report section, but I think it doesn't fit there anyway)

Any other stuff I should keep in mind?

I will also post some panoramas in this topic: http://www.stormtrack.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23648

It will take some time to sort the pictures out and give some english (my english is a bit rusty, so this will be a good exercise ;)) information to you.
Thank you.

Greetings from Germany

I'd post it in the weather and chasing section. No need to split it up into another thread. One should be sufficient.

Image size--I'd keep them at a resolution less than 1000 pixels wide. I'm not sure about quantity, but post your best stuff. Don't post boring photos, or the viewer will be bored as well.

Try to give a short summary/story for each photo if you can. Makes them more interesting.

Thank you Jason.

I won't post boring stuff, otherwise it wouldn't be a "best-of". I will post some information about my chasing region, maybe with a link to google maps. You'll probably be surprised about quality and quantity of thunderstorms in this little region (southern upper rhine valley - border triangle Germany, Switzerland and France), although I am still waiting to see my first tornado (saw several funnels) in that area.

As a test I post a picture from last Friday, image size is ~1200x800 but it is shown minimized if the code works (panoramas have 1600x??? but will appear minimized, too). Maybe it is kind of a appetizer for you guys ;)

Would this be ok for you?
I will post a short summary for each chasing day/image post and if somebody is interested in more pictures than the best ones, feel free to ask for it!

Greetings
