For several years now I've used iMovie on my Mac to edit video (I know, some of you don't like it). While it may not be as option-heavy, it is simple. However, when I'm chasing, my laptop is a PC. I've purchased and installed Adobe Premiere Elements for editing video when I'm on the road. However, I'm having a hell of a time figuring out the right settings to export video. I'd like to export in 1080, but the only obvious option is some funky Bluray format. There's a preset 720p mode which exports as a .mpg, but I sometimes have trouble getting it to play. I'd kind of like it to export in H.264 HD as well. Anyway, does somebody have enough experience with it to give me a quick rundown of the best settings to export? Thanks.
