posting pictures

I can't seem to figure out how to post pictures within a post. The last couple of times I have attempted to do so... it has posted the link to my file upload manager instead of the actual photo. I've read the FAQ's and must be missing something somewhere. Help! and thanks very much!!! Bob

You can try using the little photo uploader button above the post editor. It will fail if you try to reference the photo locally and its too large. If you can't get that to work, you can always just type in the img tags and paste the URL of the image in between them. See:

Edit: Make sure your URL is correct. A common mistake I see people make is they post a link to a webpage that has the photo on it, and not the actual photo itself. Your photo's URL will end in .jpg or .png if you've copied it correctly.
