I like Accuweather & Myweather. They have a good animated radar for chasing and it can show your current location. Any others you like? Please post!

I like RadarScope for radar/GPS and AeroWeather for current conditions in the area. RadarScope downloads raw data like GR3 and then displays it. It seems to be a tad better than the other radar apps. A few more additions (placefiles / roads) and you could just about chase without a computer.

AccuWeather is the best I have seen especially with the 3G iPhone and linked GPS. It is free.

Full disclosure: WeatherData is owned by AccuWeather but the above is my sincere opinion.

For radar analysis I also like RadarScope.

Weathertap Mobile will do radar with animations, satellite, severe weather, etc. No gps to location that I can tell though.

I used Radarscope yesterday with the storms in Okc. It worked great. I would like to see watches and warnings displayed on it though.

WunderRadio

I just downloaded WunderRadio. It's got all the NOAA stations. All the commercial stations. Its even got a police scanner. Really cool easy to use navigation. Static free AM. All for less than a six pack of Boulevard Pale Ale. My car radio just got demoted to lightning detector.

Does anybody have any updated opinions on this subject? I'm looking for some new weather apps.

Is RadarScope still the best option for radar data?

Thanks.

I'm trying to decide whether I like the Accuweather or Weather.com app better. I'm not particularly happy with either, but they do serve a purpose.

Aeroweather is pretty cool. Easy access to raw weather data from multiple locations at once. I like it.

I'm still contemplating RadarScope. I've never paid for an app before, this could be the first.

Wunder Radio is good for stations, works well, costs a bit but not much I believe.

Do it! I'm on the Beta team and they have plans in the works to expand the capabilities. It just takes 14 years, 2 months, 14 days and the sacrificing of 12 goats to get new versions into the Apple AppStore so they have to be super careful about breaking things with new features.

I chased for 17 days this year using RadarScope on my iPhone. It's a fantastic application. Base reflectivity...storm relative velocity...this app is very capable and well-designed. I particularly like the fact that it seems to pull down new scans even when connectivity is poor. And if you lose connectivity, it will keep trying without taxing your battery.

I also like the fact that I always have a good radar with me no matter where I go.

About the only thing it's lacking is warning boxes. But even without that, it's well worth $9.99. I highly recommend this app!

I have to say RadarScope is one of my most favorite iPhone applications, especially with the 3G-S... My second favorite is WunderRadio (works great for NOAA Weather Radio over both 3G and EDGE).

Recently, I got my first (weather) application published on the iTunes Application Store.

I call it wxCamMap. It allows a user to enter a location or use their GPS location to get local weather cameras on the Internet and plot them on a map. This application uses various Internet data feeds to bring it together. (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=317388801&mt=8)
