I love getting my car in a shot or two with storms. Anyone else do this? Lets see em.

Funny you should start this thread, I am currently looking at getting a new chase ride, I'm finally wrapping up college and figure its about time I upgrade, getting stuck 3 times in the last few weeks has also convinced me its time for a new ride. Though often I'm in a rental anyway especially earlier in the year on the longer trips.

This was actually a really nice chase vehicle...

There's mine. Normally I don't have as many antennae on the vehicle. This day though, we had 2 ham radios running and were using my Aircard as a mobile hotspot. This is in addition to my normal work radios.

This was from 5/27/08 SE Kansas. Pretty quite day really but it's the only good photo I have since my laptop crashed... literally. I'm a spotter and sometimes a chaser in the local area. I wouldn't be a full time chaser and drive this beast. Oh no not with these gas prices!

A most reliable vehicle indeed, 168,000 miles and still going strong, tho the RWD is a bit of a setback when it comes to slick conditions. Ill miss it tho when I replace it in about 2 years. When not chasing it does a superb job of hauling all my camping and fishing gear across the country, as well as all the people traveling with me.

This is one of my favorites Graham Butler took of my previous chase vehicle after we took a particularly difficult short cut that Delorme said was paved. It described the frustration of the day nicely. We were 14 miles in to this "shortcut".

here is my truck finished finally !

Now that's pretty cool! A hail guard for my windshield is the next thing to add to my setup!

Here's a photo inside of my truck:
