Hi All,
Scott Carter (President of Carter Strategy Group and former member of NOAA Legislative Affairs) and myself will be presenting a seminar at the National Weather Center (Room 1313) on Wednesday, April 11 at 3:30 PM titled "Why Should I Care, I'm A Meteorologist".
It will address the issues of government funding for meteorology programs for students and members of the workforce. I highly recommend coming to the seminar if you are at all interested in how meteorology gets its funding at all levels of government or if you are interested in learning how to navigate the tangled web of bureacracy regarding government funding.
