Normalized Rotation (NROT) primer

Does anyone have or know of a good primer, either technical or layperson language, about the Normalized Rotation feature of GR2Analyst?

The NROT product is basically azimuthal shear normalized by the area of the bins used to calculate.

I suggest visiting the GRLevelX owners forum and searching for a post defining the NROT algorithm there. I'm sure it has been brought up. If you can't find such a post, make a new one.
