Nation/World Trump administration seeks deep cuts in NOAA budget

According to today's Washington Post, the Trump budget proposal would cut $1.5 billion (16%) from the Commerce Department budget much of which is targeted at NOAA but the "National Weather Service appeared to escape with more minor cuts" than other NOAA divisions. Still FAR FAR too early in the process to get worried. I don't see Congress playing along.
